The Rest of Surfing

Shooting surf photos are great as you can visually recall what happened. When done properly you can evoke emotions in the viewer. Awe, excitement, joy, and wonder. Really, that applies to photography in general.

There is so much more to shooting surf than just surfing. Not every photo has to be in a magazine or in an online photo gallery to be epic or everlasting. You can create iconic imagery that lasts through others’ lives. From water barrel shots, land telephoto, lifestyle, and portraiture. The best photos are made when just cruising with friends. How cool is that?
